Green Door Printmaking Studio heartily invite national and international printmakers to participate in our 11th annual exchange (IPE 2019)!

The International Print Exchange is an unjuried print exchange with no assigned theme, open to all, that celebrates fine art printmaking.

It's that time of year again, when we invite printmakers from all over the world to send us print editions towards our IPE! Please make sure you read through our submission guidelines carefully and get in touch if you would like to ask any questions before submitting your edition.

The IPE is a self-funded project organised by Green Door Printmaking Studio. Our goal is simple; to share prints, promote printmaking and showcase the inspirational, accomplished and passionate printmakers all over the world that utilize contemporary printmaking today.

How it Works

Each participating printmaker creates and submits a limited edition of ten prints specifically for the exchange. These prints are created using a recognised fine art printmaking technique with archival materials. Of the ten prints submitted, Green Door Printmaking Studio keeps two; the first for our archive and exhibition; the second for sale to fund future exchange projects (in return, if sold, this printmaker will receive free entry to the following year's exchange).

The remaining prints are randomised and sorted, and each printmaker receives eight random prints in return from all printmakers all over the world.

* Why has this changed?
Since we first began the IPE, we have maintained the submission fee at £15GBP. Unfortunately, entering our 11th year of running this project, we have found this fee no longer covers all of the costs (from postage to hosting the exhibition), and so, after some consideration, we have had to increase it to £20GBP. Please note, this will not affect those who have received free entry to the IPE 2019.
