I am writing to you on the behalf of the City gallery of Uzice. Our Gallery is an organizer of the International Graphic Art Biennial Dry Point, a Biennial Exhibition dedicated to a one particular graphic technique – Dry point. This year we are organizing the 10th Biennial Exhibition.

ORGANIZACIJA I NAČIN UČESTVOVANJAOsnivač i organizator X grafičkog bijenala - Suva igla 2011 je Gradska galerija iz Užica. Na X grafičkom bijenalu biće prikazana dela nastala između dva bijenala. Za izlaganje će biti uzeta u obzir isključivo dela izrađena u tehnici suve igle sa ograničenjem formata papira do 80 x 112 cm.  Dela za izlaganje moraju biti izvedena na visokom profesionalnom nivou. Autor može da prijavi do 2 (dva) dela. Komisija će izvršiti selekciju radova.

REGULATION PURPOSE AND ORGANIZERSThe City Gallery of Uzice is the founder and organizer of the 10th Graphic Art Biennial - Dry Point 2011. At the 10th Graphic Biennial the achievements of the graphic art, created between two exhibitions shall be presented. Only the works in dry point technique with limited format to 80 x 112 cm shall be exhibited. The works which are to be exhibited should be performed at high professional level. Each artist can send a maximum of 2 (two) original prints. International jury will make selection of the works.

PRIJAVE I DOSTAVA GRAFIKAPrijave i grafike sa priloženim izlagačkim kuponima se šalju bez paspartua i rama, radi izlaganja pod staklima. Radovi se dostavljaju poštom ili lično u Gradskoj galeriji u Užicu. Rok za prispeće poštanskih pošiljki u Gradsku galeriju je  16. maj 2011. godine. Troškove slanja snosi autor, a u povratku organizator. Organizator ne snosi odgovornost za oštećenja radova u transportu. Po prijemu radova, grafike će biti komisijski pregledane, a autor će biti obavešten o eventualnom oštećenju. Slanjem radova, autor prihvata sve navedene propozicije X Grafičkog bijenala Suva igla. Organizator će izvršiti povratak radova u roku od 6 (šest) meseci po završetku izložbe.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATIONSApplications and prints with enclosed exhibiting coupon are to be sent unframed, in cardboard tubes for exhibiting under glass. Works could be delivered by mail or personally at the City Gallery in Uzice. Deadline for the arrival of registered mail to the City Gallery is May 16th, 2011. Shipping costs of works are covered by the artist, while the return charges are to be covered by the organizer. The organizer is not responsible for the damages which occurred during the transport. After receipt, the prints shall be examined for the acceptability. The artist will be notified of eventual damages of works. By sending the works, artist is considered to have agreed to the propositions of X Graphic Biennial. Organizer will return the works within 6 (six) months after exhibition is closed.

NAGRADE I PRIZNANJA Organizator će dodeliti 5 nagrada i to: Gran pri za izuzetan doprinos tehnici suve igle, Zlatnu, Srebrnu i Bronzanu iglu kao i Nagradu Učiteljskog fakulteta u Užicu. Žiri može dodeliti i specijalne pohvale autorima, ako smatra za potrebno.	AWARDS AND PRIZES The organizer will award the following five prizes: Grand prix for exceptional contribution to Dry Point Technique, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Dry Point as well as the Award of the Teachers University of Uzice. The Jury for awards can also give Special merit mentions to authors.

KATALOGOrganizator će povodom bijenala štampati katalog koji besplatno dobijaju svi učesnici. Katalog se štampa u crno-beloj tehnici u formatu 290 x 205 mm i autori će biti zastupljeni sa po jednim radom i nazivima ostalih izloženih dela.	CATALOGUEOn the occasion of 10th Graphic Art Biennial, Dry Point, Uzice 2011, catalogue will be issued and sent to each participant free of charge. It is printed in black-white technique, by one work including titles of other exhibited works.

NAPOMENA Organizator, Gradska galerija moli sve učesnike bijenala da poklone svoje radove organizatoru, koji će ih reprezentovati u formiranju kolekcije kabineta Suve igle i koja će, nadamo se, biti značajna za proučavanje ove specifične grafičke tehnike. Autore koji se odluče da poklone radove Grafičkoj kolekciji Suva igla molimo da popune Potvrdu o donaciji. Poklonjeni radovi koji ne budu selektovani biće vraćeni autorima

NOTE All artists are encouraged by the organizer, the City Gallery, to give their works as a gift to represent them in the collection of Dry Point Room, which will greatly contribute in studying this specific graphic technique. We kindly ask those authors who choose to donate their works to the collection of Dry Point Room to fill the Certificate of Donation. Donated works which are not selected shall be returned to their authors.
