The Museum of Art and History (MOAH) is proud to host the Women's Environmental Artists Directory (WEAD) annual members' exhibition in celebration of environmental art that addresses climate change. Climate change affects vital aspects of life: water, food, health, social justice, and species loss. In keeping with the smaller footprints concept, and since humans have 2 feet, work is limited to a maximum 2 feet in any dimension.

The City of Bellevue seeks sculptures and/or proposals for site-specific/temporary sculptures. Sculptures will be exhibited at Bellevue City Hall, along the Pedestrian Corridor that crosses Downtown, and in the Downtown Park from June 24-October 16, 2016. Artwork will be juried by a panel of established professional artists and arts professionals.

Existing artworks selected for the show are eligible for honoraria, insurance, plus shipping and travel reimbursement up to $500 (artists can apply for additional assistance if required), and free professional installation.

Temporary/site-specific artworks created for this show, are eligible for honoraria, plus shipping and travel reimbursement up to $500 (artists can apply for additional assistance if required), limited materials budget for creating the work and professional installation assistance, (case by case basis). All temporary/site-specific artworks will be outdoors.

Au Naturel: The Nude in the 21st Century is an international juried competition hosted annually by the Art Center of Clatsop Community College in Astoria, Oregon, with a focus on the time-honored tradition of the nude human figure, an art form that continues to inspire and challenge many artists today as one of the most potentially rewarding subjects to explore. This exhibit represents a wide range of interpretations of the human figure from representational to abstract, and is open to all artists from around the world working in any drawing, painting, and printmaking media in which the handmade mark is employed as the primary means of image-making.
