Exhibits of interest to our members:

At International Print Center New York, Contemporary Brazilian Printmaking is the title of the current exhibition of fine art projects by over 15 artists working in Brazil today, on view until May 23, 2014. Selected by three Brazilian curators, art historians and print specialists, this exhibition will be the first showing of many of the artists in New York. The works feature technical experimentation and resist conventions, with the curators working to identify important trends and achievements in the field of printmaking in Brazil. www.ipcny.org

The Katonah Museum of Art has a show entitled Jasper Johns and John Lund: Masters in the Print Studio on display through June 15, 2014. The exhibition focuses on a unique artistic collaboration between Johns and the master printer John Lund, a match up of technical prowess and the very personal iconography of the 83 year old artist.
