Although perhaps best known as painter, Chambers is also a prolific printmaker, working with master printers in the UK and abroad to make original prints in etching, screenprinting, woodcut and lithography. Included in the show are a series of new etchings, hot of the press from a newly established studio in London, Nutmeg Editions. These small colour and lustrous gold etchings display Chambers’ rich references using repeat patterns, language and story-telling giving the viewer a visual feast to savour. The show also features a series of cookbook woodcuts with Sam and Sam Clark of Moro,a celebrated Moorish restaurant and regular food-writers in The Telegraph.
