Made by our friend and artist Noah Lambie. Noah was married to his lovely wife this summer at the beautiful Oregon coast. They brewed a special batch of beer named "Benthic Black" for the guests of their wedding. Noah used an etchpop woodblock to make the beer labels from a drawing he created with a simple Sharpie marker.
The rock in the ocean is nicknamed "Monkey Rock", and yes, the beer was delicious!
Make your own original hand-made prints!
We know that making your own prints is awesome. That's why we're on a mission to create etchpop, an online service where you can have your original artwork and images laser engraved into a woodblock and sent to your home so you make your own custom prints.
These woodblocks can be used to make anything from pieces to be sold in galleries to personal greeting cards and party invitations. No matter what you make with an etchpop woodblock, you can be sure your prints will look, feel, and be as original and unique as you are.
How it works:
What's the money for?
We are currently approved for a small business loan to purchase our own awesome laser (Trotec, baby!) and should be proud owners of said laser in about 1 month. However, this loan will not cover the expenses needed to create a user friendly website. We strongly believe that etchpop.com should easily allow it's users to upload and/or choose their images they would like on their woodblock and order them without hassle. The experience should be seamless, carefree, and (most importantly) fun.
