A “Convocatória de Arte do Atelier Plano B” é um projeto anual promovido pelo Atelier de Arte Plano B, que “chama” artistas e todas as pessoas que são ligadas às artes de alguma forma ou não, para pensarem a arte através de suas expressões individuais e autorais, utilizando-se de suportes bidimensionais e em formatos que variam de ano para ano, aonde todos os trabalhos inscritos sempre farão parte da mostras.
A Convocatória tem alguns objetivos, como o de divulgar a arte, chamando a participarem também escolas e espaços mais diversos possíveis e itinerar com cada edição realizada.

Observações sobre o edital: “Sobre a taxa de inscrição”
Conforme o Edital, item 11, será cobrada uma taxa de inscrição no valor de R$ 20,00 (vinte reais), para inscrição individual e coletiva.
Para os trabalhos que serão enviados pelo grupo, realizados em Universidades e Espaços Culturais a taxa será única, ou seja R$ 20,00 para o grupo, não tendo limite do número de participantes.
Para escolas de ensino fundamental e médio, sendo elas públicas ou privadas, não será cobrado o valor da inscrição.
Para os participantes individuais permanece o valor mencionado.
Ressaltamos que este valor deverá ser enviado junto com o material de inscrição ou comprovante de depósito no Banco Banrisul 041, Conta 35.025360.0-8, Agência 0065.  Será confirmado o recebimento do material de inscrição e da taxa através do e-mail do inscrito.

• Regulamento

  REGULAMENTO DA IV CONVOCATÓRIA DE ARTE TEMA: “ARTE EM XEQUE”

1. A convocatória contempla modalidades de arte bidimensionais.
2. O participante deverá enviar um trabalho, identificando a modalidade/técnica, na ficha de inscrição;
3. Todos os trabalhos serão objetos de exposição;
4. O trabalho deverá ser identificado discretamente, a lápis ou selo adesivo, porém de forma legível, no seu verso através dos dados de identificação do autor e o lado correto de apresentação e exposição do mesmo;
5. O trabalho deverá ser apresentado nas dimensões de 21,5 cm (largura) x 7,5 cm (altura),com espessura máxima de 0,5 cm., incluindo-se nestes valores, as medidas do suporte;
6. A proposta deverá prever a visualização do trabalho no formato de paisagem, ou seja, com a maior dimensão na horizontal;
7. Para a exposição, o trabalho deverá apresentar suporte compatível com a sua fixação em painéis de MDF;
8. O período e o local para envio dos trabalhos, com as fichas solicitadas, será de 10 de dezembro de 2010 a 8 de abril de 2011 no Atelier de Arte Plano B, na Avenida Farrapos, 146/133 – 13º andar, CEP 90220-000, Bairro Centro – Porto Alegre/ RS. Serão aceitos apenas os trabalhos enviados dentro do período indicado, com data de postagem até 8 de abril de 2011;
9. O regulamento está disponível no site do Atelier de Arte Plano B: www.atelierplanob.com.br. A ficha de inscrição deverá ser preenchida, em todos seus itens, e assinada;
10. Enviar junto, seu currículo resumido, em formato de texto, impresso com até meia lauda, em fonte 12, espaçamento entre linhas 1,5 contendo os seguintes dados: nome para divulgação, cidade e ano de nascimento, endereço, telefone, e-mail e site, blog, formação e principais atividades culturais, principais exposições individuais e/ou coletivas, obras em acervos, obras públicas, publicações e prêmios, se houver;
11. Será cobrada uma taxa de inscrição no valor de R$ 20,00 (vinte reais), para inscrição individual e coletiva, que deverá ser enviada junto com o material de inscrição ou comprovante de depósito no Banco Banrisul 041, Conta 35.025360.0-8, Agência 0065. Será confirmado o recebimento do material de inscrição e da taxa através do e-mail do inscrito;
12. A forma de exposição e publicação dos trabalhos ficará a critério do Atelier de Arte Plano B, que se reserva o direito de reproduzir tais trabalhos, em seu material institucional, preservando os créditos do autor;
13. Inicialmente a exposição será realizada no Atelier de Arte Plano B, durante o período de 26 de abril a 20 de maio de 2011; posteriormente ela poderá etinerar por outros espaços expositivos;
14. Será emitido “Certificado de Participação” para cada inscrito individual e um certificado em nome do grupo, coletivo, escola, etc.
15. Os autores que optarem por receberem seu trabalho de volta, deverão enviar com o material de inscrição, envelope apropriado, previamente identificado e paga a taxa de postagem, relativa ao peso, à empresa Brasileira de Correios e Telégrafos – ECT. Caso não enviem, os trabalhos passarão a fazer parte do acervo do Atelier de Arte Plano B;
16. A devolução dos trabalhos expostos ocorrerá após o término da etinerância da Convocatória (data a ser fixada posteriormente);
17. Ao efetuar a inscrição nessa Convocatória o participante aceitará todas as disposições deste regulamento. O não cumprimento de quaisquer das regras do regulamento poderá causar, a critério de seus organizadores, a não participação do trabalho e, consequentemente, do respectivo participante, na exposição;
18. O Atelier de Arte Plano B, não se responsabiliza por qualquer dano ou extravio das obras em exposição.

Sobre o Anuário: 

Estaremos lançando no dia 2 de dezembro de 2011 a segunda edição do ANUÁRIO Arte Atual, trata-se de um Livro em capa dura e impresso em fino acabamento em papel couchê e edição bilíngüe (português / Inglês) no formato 21 x 30cm fechado. Este anuário como o nome já diz será publicado todos os anos. Inicialmente vamos dispor de 100 vagas para artistas de todo o Brasil e estrangeiros, devendo ser ampliado o numero de vagas gradativamente conforme a adesão dos artistas. 

Publicaremos nesta segunda edição 2000 (dois mil) exemplares, que serão enviados e distribuídos para os artistas participantes as Galerias de arte, Museus e fundações de arte do Brasil, e também para as principais Galerias e museus de alguns países da Europa e Estados Unidos, possibilitando uma grande visibilidade e divulgação do seu trabalho no mercado de arte nacional e internacional. 

Os artistas que participarem do ANUÁRIO 2011 terão direito a 3 exemplares do Livro (página TRIPLA),e 2 exemplares (página SIMPLES) com as despesas de envio já incluídas no valor da taxa de participação. Desejando obter mais exemplares os mesmos serão vendidos a parte com despesas de postagem por conta do artista. 

Cada artista terá uma página TRIPLA ou SIMPLES exclusiva no Anuário, contendo sua foto, seus dados de contato tais como telefones, e-mail e site, e biografia em português e Inglês, além de mostrar 8 imagens TRIPLA e 3 imagens SIMPLES de suas obras em formato médio (veja exemplo das páginas em anexo). 

Daremos oportunidade para os artistas que não puderem pagar pela página TRIPLA, teremos a opção da página SIMPLES contendo sua foto, seus dados de contato tais como telefones, e-mail e site, e biografia em português e Inglês, e 3 (três) imagens dos trabalhos. 

Teremos este ano dois lançamentos do livro, sendo o primeiro lançamento aqui em Salvador na Livraria Cultura, e o outro na Livraria Cultura de São Paulo, com datas a serem definidas em comum acordo com marketing da Livraria Cultura dos dois estados. 

* Todos os artistas participantes terão uma imagem da sua obra na Capa do Anuário 2011, mediante o pagamento de uma taxa, valor abaixo na tabela de valores.

Poderão participar artistas brasileiros e estrangeiros maiores de 18 anos residentes ou não no Brasil nas seguintes categorias; Pintura, Escultura, Desenho, Gravura, Fotografia, Objeto, Instalação, Cerâmica, Arte digital etc.

About the Competition
The Center for Contemporary Printmaking is delighted to announce the 8th Biennial International Miniature Print Competition and Exhibition. This juried competition and exhibition limited to works that are no more than four square inches (25.8 square cm) aims to encourage artists to explore the miniature print format and provides them with an opportunity for exhibition. Further, it is an opportunity for artists and the public to view the current concerns of printmakers from near and far. Since its inception in 1997, the competition has grown to attract artists from around the world. n 2009, CCP received 708 entries by 255 artists, who came from 23 different countries and 26 states within the United States. The International Miniature Print Competition is held every other year, alternating with CCP’s other biennial, Footprint International.

Eligibility: All fine-art printmaking mediums, including woodcut, intaglio, lithography, silkscreen, monotype, and original digital media. (No drawings, photographs, or direct reproductions are eligible.) Prints may not exceed a total image area of 4 square inches (25.8 square cm), e.g. 1 x 4 in., 2 x 2 in., 1 1/2 x 2 2/3 in., etc. Outside dimensions of the printing paper may not exceed 6 x 11 in. (15.2 x 27.9 cm). Paper beyond these dimensions on accepted prints will be trimmed to the dimensions required for the exhibition. Only two-dimensional works will be accepted.

How to Enter: Complete the entry form and attach an identification label to the back of each print you wish to enter. Entry Fee: Each artist may submit up to three prints, for a fee of $20 for CCP members, $30 for non-members, and $40 for international entries. (International entry fee includes return postage). Two additional entries will be accepted for an additional fee of $10 each. The fee must accompany the entry form and must be in U.S. dollars only, in the form of a check or money order, made payable to Center for Contemporary Printmaking. (Any currency other than U.S. dollars will not be accepted.) Do not send cash. Prints donated in lieu of payment of the entry fee will not be accepted. Entries not accompanied by fees become the property of CCP. Artist membership in CCP is $50 a year; please contact CCP for information.

Prizes and Awards: Cash prizes and purchase awards will be made by the juror.

Sales: All prints must be for sale. CCP will retain a commission of 50% on all works sold.

Duplicate Prints: You may submit duplicate prints of entered images to increase the opportunity for sales. Duplicate prints do not count as separate entries.

Delivery of Works: All entries must be sent flat and unmatted and must include a self-addressed return package sized to fit the prints. Outside package dimensions may be no larger than 9 x 14 inches (22.9 x 35.5 cm). Prints received without a return package and postage become the property of CCP. Notification: Artists of prints selected for the exhibition will be notified via e-mail by April 30, 2011. The names of these artists will also be posted on the CCP website, www.contemprints.org.

Return of Works: Unsold works will be returned by mail by the end of 2011.

Liability: Although reasonable care will be given to work submitted to this exhibition, CCP is not responsible for loss or damage to entries. Your signature on the entry form confirms your acceptance of these conditions.

 CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

Technique and number

All artists and printmaking techniques are eligible. Each artist may submit up to three works.

Image Area and Paper Size
The image can be any shape but must lie completely within a rectangle 8 cm by 10 cm (3.1 inches by 3.9 inches). Selected prints may be trimmed to fit a range of frames. Paper size must be not more than 19 cm by 24 cm (7.5 inches by 9.5 inches). Prints on paper larger than this will be returned to entrants.

Entry Fee
A non-refundable entry fee of £22 is payable by UK entrants to submit up to 3 prints. Payment in the UK must be made by £ sterling cheques or postal orders made payable to ‘Printmakers Council’. The fees for international payments are €35 or US$45. International payments should be made (using credit/debit card) by following the instructions on the web site www.8thminiprint.com so that payment is received by 21st September, 2011.

Print Submission
Work must arrive at the Printmakers Council offices before 21st September, 2011. It must be packed flat without mount, sent as letter post, labelled ‘Printed Matter - No Commercial Value’, with the fee (in the case of payment by £ sterling cheque or postal order) and the entry form. Prints must be titled and signed just below the image, in lettering of appropriate size for small work. On the back, please clearly write your name, and the number and title of the work as on the entry form, in pencil using block capitals.




Liability
Although the prints will always be handled with the greatest care, the organizers cannot be responsible for any loss or damage during transit or handling.

Pricing and Sales
40-50% commission will be taken by galleries from the selling price. Previous exhibitions have been shown at 10 or more galleries, and most prints have been sold at prices between £40 and £80. Please allow for commission when setting your prices. Payments for prints sold will be issued by the gallery directly to the artist.

Editions
A minimum of 10 prints of each submitted print must be available, and these should be sent to the Printmakers Council on notification of selection, to be held as stock for orders. This is to reduce postage and administration costs to artists, and to ensure customer orders can be quickly satisfied. For monotypes and monoprints, 10 similar images must be available.

Selection and Notification

The selection panel will be:

Approximately 200 prints will be selected for the exhibition. Criteria for selection will include: originality of image, technical ability, and skill in producing a mini print. The selection panel reserves the right not to accept prints if the edition number is less than 10.
The list of selected entries will be posted on the web site, www.8thminiprint.com, before 31st January,2012. Selected works may be reproduced in the catalogue, or used to promote the exhibition.

REGULAMENTO _ .
1. Cada artista poderá expor até 03 telas ou esculturas;
2. Aconselhamos aos artistas que as telas ou esculturas que serão expostas sejam acomodadas para transporte na mala de mão;
3. É de responsabilidade do artista o check-in no aeroporto, o excesso de bagagem, o transporte e a liberação das obras na alfândega;
4. Aconselhamos aos artistas que providenciem, com antecedência, junto ao IPHAN a liberação de saída das obras do País;
5. No caso de venda da obra o valor integral apurado será de propriedade do artista; Não damos garantia de venda das obras;
6. O artista poderá doar sua obra à uma Instituição Cultural do Território Vaticano, ficando a Instituição comprometida a enviar à UCAI Brasil e Portugal o Certificado de Doação da Obra para que seja entregue ao artista;
7. A exposição contará com a avaliação crítica de especialistas, com divulgação na Rádio Vaticana sendo entregue posteriormente uma cópia ao Artista.

9. Valor das Taxas das Galerias (Até 3x no cheque):
Galeria La Pigna - R$ 900,00 (Novecentos reais);
Galeria UCCLA - R$ 900,00 (Novecentos reais).
10. O Artista (Artista Plástico/Poeta) que optar por viajar por conta própria pagará apenas o custo de participação na exposição;
11. Valores com partida do Rio de Janeiro (consultar saída de outros Estados), valores sujeitos à disponibilidade:
Passagem Aérea em USD (Dólar Americano): 1.012,00 + Taxas de Embarque (por pessoa);

http://albertaprintmakers.ca/wordpress/  A/P 2011 Members' Exhibition - Artpoint Gallery & Studios In addition to our regular 2011 Gallery Programming in the Artist Proof Gallery, the Alberta Printmakers’ Society will be coordinating an additional members’ exhibition in April, 2011, to be held at Artpoint Gallery & Studios in Calgary. This opportunity for A/P members is intended to provide a bigger exhibition space for experimental, 3-dimensional, mixed media and/or large-scale member works, as well as encouraging community collaboration. The Artpoint Members’ Exhibition will also provide a new audience and diverse exposure for Alberta Printmakers’ members’ work. Participation Guidelines: There are no thematic, size, media or content restrictions for this exhibition and experimental and unconventional work is encouraged, however the work must have a printmaking component. The exhibition space is large and members are encouraged to submit up to three works. Please note that Artpoint retains a 25% commission on all work sold in the gallery. Applications will be reviewed by a peer jury, and selected artists will be notified by March 20, 2011. Exhibition dates: The exhibition will be held from April 1 – 31, 2011 with an opening reception on Friday, Apr. 1 from 5:00 – 9:00pm. All interested members are invited to submit work that meets the following guidelines: √ The artist is a member in good standing of the Alberta Printmakers’ Society. Non-members are invited to become members in order to participate. √ The artwork must have a printmaking component. √ The prints may be submitted framed or unframed, but they must be finished and ready for exhibition (ie. no works in progress, sketches, etc.) Application requirements: 1. Artist’s statement (printed, hard-copy) 2. C.V. (printed, hard-copy) 3. "LOVE/HATE" Exhibit 2011
Love and hate are two of the most passionate emotions a person can feel.  They both can cause strong out comes, sometimes even insanity.  Most everyone has felt either the intense happiness or that profound hurt because of love.  Valentine's month is a great time for artists, poets, and musicians to share these emotions.  Through paintings, photography, sculpture, poetry/spoken word or song.......people are coming together to communicate their feelings through art.

ARTIST WILL BE CHARGED $20 STORAGE FEE PER DAY.

Call For All Artists:

Love and hate are two of the most passionate emotions a person can feel.

They can both cause strong out comes, sometimes even insanity.

Most everyone has felt either the profound happiness or that intense hurt because of love.

February, the Valentine month, will be a great time to share these emotions.

Through paintings, photography, sculpture, poetry/spoken word or song.......

share your feelings through your art. 

All mediums welcome.

Work can include both feelings or just love or hate.

But must include a heart "shape" in the artwork.

Spoken word, poetry and song has to be about either emotion.

Please contact us for specific information on poetry or song.

Entry Guidelines:

1. ALL WORK MUST BE PRESENTABLE:

- Clean, dust & odor free

- Fully dry

- READY TO HANG: Framed with wire hanger

Any art NOT ready to hang or use of faulty hangers will NOT be accepted

2. Art should be protected:

- Drawings, pastels, watercolors, photographs, etc. MUST be under glass.

3. Artist must provide their own display unit/base for ceramics, sculptures or carvings.

- Must be approved by gallery.

4. ALL ART MUST BE ORIGINAL

    Copies of paintings or class studies will NOT be accepted.

    Limited editions that are signed and numbered will be acceptable if

    accompanied with Certificate of Authenticity.

 

Gallery has the right to refuse any artwork considered unsuitable.

Art MUST be picked up immediately following end of show.

Picture This is NOT liable for art left after scheduled pick up dates.

Artist will be charged $20 fee per day for storage if left after the specified pick up dates.
