Glossary: your invitation to a special event... Special exhibition viewing and film screening. Wednesday 15 October 6pm - 8pm  We would be delighted if you could join us for a special viewing of Glossary which features the work of Stephen Chambers RA, Rachael Clewlow, Tom Hammick, Bridget Jones, Katherine Jones, Julian Meredith and Hilary Paynter. Glossary celebrates the very best in contemporary printmaking and each of the twelve pictures in this exhibition has been made using a different printmaking process from potato printing to digital. Work has been selected because it expresses the fundamental qualities of that particular printmaking method in tune with the individual artists' ideas. Amid the wine and convivial conversation there will be a screening of all seven short films that have been made by Alan Fentiman to accompany the exhibition. This may be your last chance to view Glossary at Northern Print before it tours to other venues throughout the North East so join us for popcorn and prints. Anja Percival 23 October - 8 November Catch this popular Durham-based artist's solo exhibition at Northern Print this autumn and see the artist herself at work in the studio. Anja Percival’s exquisite etchings capture the evocative nature of light in a variety of domestic, urban and rural settings and this show will contain several brand new pieces in addition to a selection of her recent prints. Anja will be printing at Northern Print on Wed 29 Oct 2-8pm so why not pop by for a coffee, view the exhibition and drop in to see Anja making her work and find out all about her fascinating printmaking processes. If all the world were paper and all the sea were ink... 19 November - 20 December Each year at Northern Print we are proud to showcase the work of some of our own 190 studio artists during the run up to Christmas. This year's theme derives its origins from the popular nonsense rhyme and competitively priced work will showcase a wealth of printmaking techniques. We are delighted to announce that If all the world were paper... will feature a number of purchase prizes from local businesses. Ouseburn Open Studios Sat 29 - Sun 30 November Shop until you drop this November at the Ouseburn Open Studios which promises to be another fantastic festive fiesta packed full of unique artisan gift ideas, delightful demonstrations and have-a-go activities.  Northern Print is one of six participating organisations  so make a day of it, pencil it into your diary and impress your loved ones this yuletide with your amazing taste in lovingly hand-crafted presents.
