3rd New York International Miniature Print Exhibition at Manhattan Graphics Center October 26 - November 28, 2017 Opening Reception: Saturday, Oct. 28, 6 – 9 pm EXHIBITION The Manhattan Graphics Center (MGC) announces its 3rd juried competition and exhibition devoted to miniature prints. Last year, 222 artists from over 30 countries submitted work to this exhibition, bringing together a diverse representation of the print world today. The 3rd New York International Miniature Print Exhibition will take place from October 28 – November 28 at our printmaking studio’s gallery with an opening reception during IFPDA Print Week in New York, October 26-29, 2017. PURCHASE AWARDS Purchase Purchase awards in the form of gift cards and/or merchandise are made from art supply retailers. The retailer presenting the award receives the selected print directly from MGC. ELIGIBILITY All fine art printmaking mediums, including relief, intaglio, lithography, silkscreen, monotype, and letterpress will be accepted. Prints must be hand-pulled. Only prints completed in the last three years will be accepted. Prints previously submitted to past years NYIMPE will not be accepted. *Digital media, drawings, photographs, or direct reproductions are NOT eligible. Only two-dimensional works will be accepted. ​ 

SIZE REQUIREMENTS Paper Size: Maximum 10 in (h) x 8 in (w) / 25.4 cm (h) x 20.3 cm (w) Minimum paper size is 7 in (h) x 5 in (w) /17.7 cm (h) x 12.7 cm (w) Image Size: No larger than 9 square inches / 58 square centimeters This translates to an image size of: 3 in x 3 in, or 2 in x 4.5 in 7.6 cm x 7.6 cm, or 5 cm x 11.4 cm Different size configurations are acceptable as long as they do not exceed square inch/centimeter requirements. ENTRY 

CONDITIONS Submit all entries via our online forms. Artists may submit up to 3 images for the entry fee. More than 3 images can be submitted for an additional fee per extra print. Upload image at 100% scale - 300 dpi, at its actual dimensions, cmyk format. If your work is accepted, the uploaded image will be used in the catalog. Prints selected by the juror will be matted and framed by MGC and exhibited in the MGC gallery. Please note that photos must accurately represent the work you are submitting. Works that are not accurately represented will be disqualified. All exhibited works must be for sale, with MGC retaining a 40% commission of the purchase price.
