Serigraphy has the potential to create large and colorful editions-but it can also be used to develop dynamic, spontaneous monotypes! In this class students will be introduced to methods of using silkscreen with water-based media to produce painterly prints. We will work with charcoal, watercolor, water-soluble sticks, graphite, chalk pastels, screen printing inks and other materials, including stencils. Serigraphic monotypes can be combined with other forms of printmaking and painting, too! This class is open to all.

Class time: 10 AM - 5 PM, includes lunch break
Class fee:  $ 190.00 + tax, includes most printing materials

This process was originated in the 16th century and was made famous by artists such as Rembrandt and Turner.
