37 shortlisted artists have been selected from 740 entries from across the globe and will be on show at Northern Printand Hatton Gallery throughout the Biennale. The Preview event will take place from 5pm - 6.30pm at Northern Print and from 6pm - 8pm at Hatton Gallery with the winners announced at 7pm at Hatton Gallery. Who is your favourite? Invited artist, Bedwyr Williams
27 June - 9 August, Hatton Gallery | FREE Bedwyr Williams was invited to exhibit by selector David Nash RA and has made a new series of prints specifically for the Biennale. The prints are film posters for his recent film ‘Echt’ commissioned by Tramway, Glasgow earlier this year. You can see the film and hear Bedwyr Talk about his work on Saturday 28 June at Star & Shadow as part of the Contemporary Art Society Tour. (details left) |

Summer showcase, Bruegel to Freud: Print from The Courtauld Gallery 19 June – 21 September 2014 | £6 The Courtauld Gallery, London This Summer Showcase provides visitors with an introduction to the largest but least known part of the Gallery’s outstanding collection – its holding of prints.
