Screenprint, 67x64.5cm Your invitation to a special viewing with Artist Rachael Clewlow Wednesday 27 September   6 - 8pm You are warmly invited to attend a special viewing of Rachael Clewlow's exhibition of prints at Northern Print this Wednesday evening.  The artist will be in attendance.  Explorer contains screenprints created in 2013/14 with  Kip Gresham at The Print Studio in Cambridge alongside recent screenprints and an etching created in collaboration with Northern Print's Studio Printmaker Helen Donley. Rachael's work as an artist results in visual depictions of planned and abstract journeys that she meticulously documents in a series of exquisitely handwritten notebooks.  Her prints and paintings draw from elements of the language of infographics and of cartography, these works also demonstrate an obsession with colour and the formal concerns of abstract painting. Screenprint. 76x57cm Artist's Talk: The Editioning Process Saturday 7 October 10.30am-12pm Rachael Clewlow will reflect upon her collaborations at The Print Studio, Cambridge and Northern Print. This talk will appeal to artists and collectors who are interested in how collaborative prints are made.  It is also open to all to all with a wider interest in the arts and culture.
