Prized: A celebration of two International Print Biennales through the work and words of a selection winning artists

International Print Biennale in its current form began in 2009 and since then we have staged four events, the most recent in 2016. International Print Biennale has presented the work of over 200 artists from 40 countries at Laing Art Gallery, Hatton Gallery, Vane, Gallery North and Northern Print. To date, 27 prizes have been awarded including residencies, commissions, purchase prizes and £20k prize money. International Print Biennale has included 80 events and exhibitions across the region and has been enjoyed by over 600,000 visitors.
This summer Northern Print will be presenting an exhibition celebrating International Print Biennale and also the Bradford British International Print Biennale which ran from 1968 to 1990.
Included in the exhibition will be new works by Katherine Jones, Hormazd Narielwalla, Sun Ju Lee as well as catalogues and posters from both biennales.
