Stuart Artist in Residence at South Dakota State University

The Department of Visual Arts at South Dakota State University invites applications for an artist in residence from artists working in any discipline and willing to share their conceptualization process through visual documentation.

Requirements: Keep a full time working schedule, including 4-6 hours of open studio time per week to share project development; a public presentation at the South Dakota Art Museum; exhibition of documentation.

Included: 24/7 access to a 660 sq. ft. lockable studio space. A four-bedroom, university owned guesthouse that includes a private lockable bedroom along with full access to kitchen, living, laundry and parking facilities.

Excluded: All transportation, materials, supplies, meals and personal expenses are the responsibility of the artist.
