Islamic Art Revival Series (IARS) in partnership with LuminArté Gallery presents the 4th Annual Juried International Exhibition of Contemporary Islamic Art.
Juror: This year IARS is pleased to announce Salma Tuqan as the esteemed juror for this year's exhibition. Ms Tuqan is the Curator of the art of Contemporary Middle East since 2011, at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, United Kingdom.
Exhibiton dates: September 26th to October 31st, 2015. All accepted art work may be featured on IARS website for a full one year after the end of the exhibition.www.islamicartrevival.com. LuminArté Gallery may also feature the art work on their website. www.luminarte.com.
Eligibility: This juried art exhibition is open to all artists 18 years and older from around the world. All art submitted should be based on or inspired by Islamic art and design, Islamic literature, Islamic architecture and Islamic cultures, current social issues and presented in a positive light.
Media: All 2D and 3D art, including but not limited to painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, art glass, fibre arts, hand pulled prints, photographs and original digital prints are welcome. Giclee prints which are not original will not be considered.
Curators: Matt Anzak, Art Director at LuminArte Gallery and Shafaq Ahmad, Art Director at IARS.
Opening reception for the artists will be held at the LuminArté Gallery on September 26th, 2015 by invitation only.
