Jac Leirner will take part in the 10th Mercosul Biennial, which will be held in Porto Alegre, Brazil. The curatorial project for this edition of the Mercosul Biennial is titled Messages From a New America and focuses on Latin American art. The exhibition will reconsider critical perspectives on the history of exhibitions in Latin America, as well as re-evaluate traditional curatorial models of large-scale exhibitions. The biennial will include more than 800 works which span from the early 18th century to contemporary works.
