Mehdi's technique of choice is usually mezzotint. Using the same plate,
this technique allows for the reduction of the tones to make new images and forms after making each new series of prints. In this way, the image is continually transformed by its own process. The reductive process is for him a good reflection of the way that he defines life; from his point of view as an artist, who considers the most finite occurrences as being part of the general Human life.
