Call For All Artists:
This is an open call for artists to display any work pertaining to New Orleans' extraordinarily rich culture.
If you have ever visited or lived in New Orleans, you may have been struck by the European flavor. Perhaps it was architecture in the 80-square-block area known as the French Quarter. Or the church overlooking Jackson Square, the beautiful antebellum mansions in the Garden District and Uptown, the streetcar lines, steamboats on the Mississippi River, or the moss covered cemeteries. Maybe the music put a spell on you! After all, New Orleans is known as the birthplace of jazz. The city also has a well-deserved reputation for its food. Chefs combine abundant regional culinary resources such as seafood with Creole, Cajun and other cooking styles to create unique eats.
No one could forget Mardi Gras!
"N'Awlins" is an enchanting city with a relaxed way of life leaving one with the desire to just lean back and let the surroundings filter through all of the senses.
