Al via le selezioni per la X edizione
Abbiamo il piacere di annunciare l'apertura delle selezioni per la X Florence Biennale che si terrà dal 17 al 25 ottobre 2015 negli spazi della Fortezza da Basso, nel cuore della città di Firenze.
Venti anni di Biennale di Firenze
Confermata la direzione artistica del Prof. Rolando Bellini per la X edizione, che sarà l'occasione per celebrare, in concomitanza con i festeggiamenti dei 150 anni di Firenze Capitale d'Italia e di EXPO 2015, i vent'anni di storia della manifestazione fiorentina. A fare da cassa di risonanza all'evento Biennale contenuti, iniziative e performance che saranno resi noti nei prossimi mesi e saranno distribuiti prima durante e dopo i 10 giorni della manifestazione. Il calendario di "Eventi nell'Evento" 2015, infatti, si preannuncia più denso che mai: molteplici le collaborazioni che si stanno instaurando in questo senso con Istituzioni pubbliche e private.
In vista di questo appuntamento Florence Biennale e la Città di Firenze stanno rinnovando le sinergie che hanno permesso durante l'ultima edizione di ospitare oltre 25 eventi collegati, con la partecipazione di centinaia di artisti e un vasto pubblico di visitatori, proseguendo nel cammino intrapreso lo scorso anno con la presentazione della Carta Etica dell'Artista durante il XXXIII Convegno Mondiale dei Centri UNESCO tenutosi a Firenze.

Open for Submissions for the X Edition
We are glad to announce the opening of the submissions to be selected to participate in the X Florence Biennale, which will take place from September 17th to 25th 2015 at Fortezza da Basso, in the heart of the city of Florence.
Twenty years of the Florence Biennale
The artistic direction of Prof. Rolando Bellini for the next edition is confirmed, year of celebrations together with the celebration of 150 years of Florence Capital of Italy and EXPO 2015, we celebrate 20 years of Florence Biennale. To begin the celebrations and momentum for the Biennale the initiatives and events will be announced in the coming months to occur before and during the 10 days of the Florence Biennale.
The "Events in the Event" calendar of 2015, in fact, promises to be more extensive than ever, including numerous collaborations with private and public institutions.
In view of this the upcoming Florence Biennale and the City of Florence are renewing their synergy that allowed during the last edition by hosting over 25 events connected with the participation of hundreds of artists and a wide audience of visitors, continuing last year's path with the presentation of the Ethics Charter of the New Millenium Artist during the XXXIII World Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centres and Associations, that was held in Florence.

SPRING COLLECTION COLLECTIVE
La mostra prosegue, il calendario degli eventi si amplia a Spazio Linea
Prorogata fino al 2 giugno la collettiva internazionale che raccoglie 18 artisti e molte tecniche diverse nella base stabile di Florence Biennale, Spazio LINEA (via delle Porte Nuove 10, Firenze). Dall'astratto al figurativo, dall'olio su tela ai supporti più innovativi, oltre 40 opere faranno da sfondo a incontri, seminari e presentazioni di libri.

Exhibition extended until June 2, the collective that brings together 18 international artists and many different techniques and subjects to the Florence Biennale's headquarters Spazio LINEA (via delle Porte Nuove 10, Florence). Works that express abstract to figurative, oil on canvas to support more innovative, these 40 works will be the backdrop for meetings, courses/seminars and presentations of books.

SMALL WONDERS II - MOSTRA COLLETTIVA
PER FONDAZIONE TELETHON
PICCOLO FORMATO GRANDE CUORE
L'arte si sfida a colpi di piccolo formato con la seconda edizione di SMALL WONDERS, mostra interamente dedicata a opere d'arte di dimensioni ridotte realizzate da artisti provenienti da ogni parte del mondo. L'esposizione è in programma dal 21 giugno al 6 luglio negli spazi di LINEA (via delle Porte Nuove 10, Firenze). Il piccolo formato ha un grande cuore: parte del ricavato sarà devoluto alla Fondazione Telethon, che da anni finanzia la ricerca sulle malattie genetiche.

SMALL WONDERS II - COLLECTIVE EXHIBITION
FOR TELETHON FOUNDATION
SMALL WORKS WITH A BIG HEART
Art takes on a challenge of small-sized artworks, which the second edition of SMALL WONDERS II, dedicated to artwork of small dimensions realized by artists from all over the world. The exhibition will take place from June 21th to July 6th in the exhibition spaces of Spazio LINEA (via delle Porte Nuove 10, Florence). An exhibition of small works of art with a bit heart: part of the proceeds will be donated to the Telethon Foundation, which funds research on genetic diseases.
