Deadline for applications: 18 May 2013 FloatArt London is a floating art exhibition for graduating art students. Yes we are going to be on the River Thames. What’s more we have been invited to participate in The Mayor’s Thames Festival, which has attracted crowds of over half a million. Let us channel all of your inspirations whilst leaving behind your perspiration! We love paintings, sculptures, ceramics, installations, and photography. Our event will take place on the Dixie Queen. She is a stunning replica of a Mississippi paddleboat. She is situated in the heart of the city, moored by Tower Bridge. We have extensive links to collectors, buyers and After a public vote, the winner of the inaugural Award will receive a grant to cover the cost of a STUDIO FOR A YEAR. 12 months later the winner will have a SOLO SHOW IN A LONDON GALLERY. How to apply: FloatArt London is now open to submissions from all BA and MA art 2013 graduates.
